What is the UAE Visitor Advertiser Permit?

This permit is issued by the UAE Media Council and is required by law for any non-resident influencer or creator who promotes, advertises, or collaborates with brands while physically in the UAE.

Who Can Apply for It?

Only accredited agencies (like Imfluence) are authorized to apply on behalf of the influencer. Self-applications are not accepted.

Documents You’ll Need

To apply, you’ll need to submit:

• Valid passport copy (min. 6 months validity)

• Passport-style photo (white background)

• DOB, phone number, email

• Account manager’s name + passport (if any)

• Signed representation agreement with Imfluence

Once submitted, you’ll receive a payment link and a short compliance training video to complete.

What’s the Cost?

• Permit Fee: AED 500

• Typing/Admin Fee: AED 200 - 400 (depending on application type)

• Additional fees may apply depending on campaign management by Imfluence

How Long Does It Take?

Permits are typically issued within 4-5 working days, however, may take up to 3 weeks.

We advise you to apply at least 3 weeks in advance of any planned campaign or trip to the UAE.

What You Can Do With This Permit

• Promote multiple brands under one permit (if all campaigns are routed through Imfluence)

• Do both paid and barter deals

• Work with international brands (as long as content is declared and run via an accredited agency)
